Realogistics International Group Co., Ltd. (Real Hong Kong) provides logistics support for a client’

In April, 2017, Realogistics International Group Co., Ltd. (Real Hong Kong) received the entrustment to provide logistics support for its client's wedding venue layout in Macau.

Project Overview

Date and Time: April 22 -- 23, 2017

Wedding Venue: Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel, Cotai Central

Cargo Information: Sky Curtain Material, Town Pressure Water Tank and Installation Tools

Mode of transport: 1 x 40’HQ Hong Kong round-trip Macau full container shipping

Operational content:

  • On April 20-21, 2017, Real arranged transportation of materials to the Macau terminal for unpacking and delivery (customers hope to be able to deliver the delivery point of the Sands Cotai Central Hotel at 8:30 on the 21st to arrange the installation of the sky screen as soon as possible)

  • After the wedding, Real arranged the return of materials to the Macau terminal, packing and returning to Hong Kong.

Through coordinating between the Macau partner and the dock office, the terminal let the truck enter the dock at 8:00 on the same day to unpack and load the truck. The first batch of goods (a total of 3 cars) can arrive at the Sands Cotai Central Area at 8:30 to unload and ready to assemble.

Difficulties in operation

  • The customer responsible for the docking is not aware of the shipping and does not provide accurate general cargo information so that Riel can make arrangements in advance.

  • Macao Inner Harbor 5A Terminal has a specific opening time (9:00 – 18:00)

  • The lane leading to the drop-off area in the Sands Cotai Central is only 3.8 meters high, and there is a risk of colliding with smallpox when the trailer is directly inside.

Operational display

  • After the container arrives in Macau in the early morning, the partner asks the porter to arrange unpacking at the Macau terminal and install the flatbed truck to the hotel receiving area.

  • After the wedding, the materials are sent to the terminal to be returned to the container, returned to the Hong Kong customer's own warehouse for storage, and reserved for another project
